'The Pine Tree State'
The 'White Pine' is official state tree since 1945. Maine is the largest of the 6 New England States Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont.
The area of approx. 86.000 qkm is nearly as big as all other New England states together. Maine is a great state for all kinds of winter and summer outdoor activities, to experience the 'Indian Summer' (Fall Foliage), see ca. 60 lighthouses along 3,500 mi of coastline.
